Lifetime Achievement Award Reception
Micki Edelsohn will receive Wilmington Senior Center’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Inspired by her son, Mrs. Edelsohn founded Homes for Life, which builds group homes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For info call 651-3460.

American Girl Fashion Show Model Auditions
The Fashion Show to benefit Ronald McDonald House of Delaware is seeking models! Girls are needed to model American Girl size 10 clothing (height 4’6” – 4’9”, waist 24”, hips 30”). Girls MUST meet the minimum requirements to participate.
If selected, girls must be available for fittings and rehearsals, dates to be determined. Auditions will take place Thursday, November 5, 2009, anytime between 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 14, 2009, anytime between 11:30 a.m. - 2 :00 p.m. at duPont Hospital in Wilmington. The Fashion Show will take place on March 13th and 14th at the University of Delaware.

NEW COMER'S ORIENTATION FOR PEOPLE AFFECTED BY CANCER

YOGA FOR PEOPLE AFFECTED BY CANCER
THURSDAYS, 1:15 P.M. - 2:45 P.M.
This is a restorative yoga that can help develop flexibility, strength and balance regardless of one's state of physical fitness. Participants learn yoga breathing that provides increased energy and deeper relaxation. No RSVP is required.

Wilmington Senior Center Lifetime Achievement celebration
The Wilmington Senior Center presents the Lifetime Achievement Award annually to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the community throughout their lives. The Center, located at 1901 N. Market Street in Wilmington, provides comprehensive life-sustaining and life-enriching programs for older adults.
Micki Edelsohn will receive the Wilmington Senior Center’s Lifetime Achievement Award at a reception in her honor on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Wilmington Country Club. Throughout her life Mrs. Edelsohn has given tirelessly of her time and talents for causes that help make our world a better place.
